Exploring

I crawl everywhere and mum still tries to move up EVERYTHING not baby proof 1 meter upp away from me. Today I crawled under the table and got stuck, my head keept on hitting the tabletop and I couldn't figure out why....mum rescued me!!!

My new dress!

I have my new easter dress on :)

I can stand up not holding on to anything for about 10-15 sec. I still don't like if anyone takes my hands and walk with me. I do it myself along furnitures! My favourite is my or other mums prams. I just love to climb up on them checking out the diffrent screws and other accessories......I can stand holding on to a pram for about 20 minutes!!!

I like to drink my milk half standing or standing! Which sometimes makes it hard because I often fall asleep drinking and as a result I slowly fall to the side......

Now its about 20.00 and we are playing on the grass no sign of tiredness yet.....

1 March = autum here!

So the autum is here and for the first time in Bellas life she will experience something else then warm sunny days, a long summer of 9 months!

We all went out for a long evening walk down to the marina just before the storm hit with thunder and rain. During the day it was too hot to leave the house???? Strange autum weather!

Morning sun!

I help mummy making me fruit pure in our little kitchen. Today she mixed: pear, banana, 2 diffrent apples, peach and plum. Lots of antioxidants!!!

Lession nr 2

This is great fun!!!!! After 15 min in the water and 5 min in the sauna I felt pretty tired and got to sleep.

In the morning we all went to the cinema "babies in arms", parents with babies can bring them with them and the light is on a little bit. No one cares if a baby cries! So good, we saw Wild Hogs = very funny movie!!!

Swim lession nr 1.

This is how we do it, first in the water, then splash and then swim on the tummy and don't forget to kick your legs! Got it?

Easter gifts!

Today a big box came with lots of gifts for me and yummy candies for mum and dad :) I got some very nice clothes, baby einsteins whole DVD box!!!! we have already watched the baby signing one. Good because mum/dad got a bit lazy with their signing....now I understand them better when they show me what they want. Soon I will show them what I want!? Thanks a lot grammie and grampa!!!!!! Mum/dad look good in their outfit too!

Golden fluffy hair.

Almost like the colour of our new car that dad is on the way to get tonight!!! Mum is so excited over the car and can't wait untill it's here in about 3 hours. Tomorrow if we get the car seat we want me and mum can finaly go to our mothersgroup meeting. We missed out for 3 weeks now because of transportation!?

World Police and Fire games 2007 !!!!

11 000 police and fire men/women has been competing in all kind of sportsevent during this week. In the day/evening between competing everyone wants to have a swim at the beach and eat at the restaurangs so we see lots of them here!!!

Both mum and dad enjoy all this very well build people enjoying our part of the world!

We have seen people from Finland, Danmark, Sweden, Afrika, Canada, USA, Spain, Greece.......it's a huge game and we would love to see part of it!!!

Bella got a key change from some police men from Baskien/Spain because she smiled to them when we had a pizza and a beer the other night!

What came first the chicken or the egg?

Here I am in deep sleep.

For the last week I have had some fever, snotty nose and been a bit sad.
Could it be because of:

1. A new cold.
2. Third lot of immunisation.
3. The third tooth.

Maybe all of the above!?

Mum discovered my third tooth in the upper jaw next to the coming front ones. So this tooth should actually come after the two front teeth. Now I look like dracula, two bottom teeth and one upper on the side! But I am still cute. On the photo I look a bit swollen on the cheek.

Very strong arm muscles!

Mum thinks I've got very strong arm and hand muscles. I love to pull her hair when she least expect it and then I don't let go ;) after mum screams for a while she manage to get my little hand of her hair, but I won I still got hair in my hands...hi hi hi

I am off!

Crawling is fun and it gets me everywhere! Today I played with a 3 year old boy at a park and he tried to teach me to walk? I tried to tell him I couldn't but he just took my hand and dragged me up, thank's mum for saving me. Otherwise I liked his clothes and I pulled in them so he moved away from me......

Not so prima.

Decided not to be a ballerina after all, hard work that standing on the toes :)

I even washed my hair!

Mum put some baby shampo in my hair because this morning it got full of banana porridge?! but I manage to get water all over me :) and rinse it all out! After this morning session I went to have a nap, and mum made herself her favourite decaffe and ate chocolade cake!

I love water and today mum gave me the shower so I could try it myself......

*anything metallic like car keys, small car...that fits in my mouth.
*screws and knobs
*fingerfood
*crawling banging things together
*happy music+clapping hands

I don't like to get dressed, be cleaned after nappy change. Mum let me stand up to do the nappy change, because I like to stand up! When I am over tired I throw away any toy that comes in my way and I do the "banana" = throw myself backwards. Good mum and dad are prepared and make sure I don't injure myself.

Mostly I am happy and smiles to anyone I see and I get many smiles back, still most people think I am a boy????? dressed in red and pink?!

Health check up!

I help mummy to read some of her magazines.

Last night we went to the health clinic to get a check up and the third lot of immunisation. Dad was there and he got a rice rattle so when mum hold my legs and the nurse injected me I almost didn't cry I just looked at the rattle. One shoot in each thigh. A few tears but that was it. No further reactions that night.

But this morning I don't feel very well. A little bit of fever and I cry a lot. Nothing is fun to play with :( I have had a good long sleep and I got some panadol to ease the pain/fever/unwell ness. I helped!

Age: 8 month 2 weeks. Length: 70 cm. Weight: 8.76 kg. Head circumference: 43 cm.

So I am developing normally, a bit taller and heavier then average and a bit smaller head ;)

In other words everything is perfectly fine!!!!!!!!!!

Finally a new car!!!

It took mum and dad a long time to look at cars until they finally found one they liked. So now I can travell safe and sound in a beautiful car from 2000, Ford Falcon AUII Futura, in gold!!!

Of to buy a baby seat!

Dad got strong painkillers for his bursted eardrum and went for a walk to the beach. Bella fell asleep when dad gave her a bottle on his arms.

Bella is still sleeping :) right now at 22.30, only mum is awake.

Afternoon picnic.

A 17.00 clock dip in the water and some picnic in the gras with some friends, but where is Bella... on the run after some dogs. Wonder if she got the dog crazyness from mum. Mum loved dogs and furs as a kid! In wintertime mum would pet old womens furs so they would turn around and mums mum had to say -"excuse me my daughter likes furs!?"

For the ones who wants to see me close up, here I am. Be aware because I try to kiss now. I open my mouth and put my two teeth around your nose and kiss!

Today I also for the first time clapped my little hands together when mum feed me porridge in the morning!!!! She was so surprised I could clap my hands over and over again. Even dad saw it because he has been home from work since thursday because of high fever and shivering and joint pain. He thought "stroke".... mum said "cold"..... doctor said "middle ear infection!" Penicillin for 10 days and no exercise. Stay calm and cool!

Bubbels!

What a great invention, bubbles!!! I try to catch them but they all disapear as soon as a touch them. But dad can make many more for me! Great fun, try it if you have kids/little babies at home!!!!

New friend at the park!

At the park another mum had the same idea as mine. So I got to meet a little girl Matilda and her dog Lucy.

I instantly got a new friend....... Lucy, little girls bah.... not interested..... but the dog.......wow

I make a lot of funny faces that dad taught me....

Here me and mum are at the park so that I can get rid of some of my energy by crawling on the gras, standing up and banging the pram with my little hands and last but not least putting everything on the gras in my mouth...... mum has quick fingers!!!!

This is me in the kitchen trying my best not to fall down to the floor. When mum and dad do the dishes or cook food I like to be there and climb on everything climable.......

Higher then this is impossible to come. What a great view, I see everything from here and I hold on tight to mums hair (ouch!!!) and I also clap the head of joy when I am up here :)

Big spider.

Mum was talking on the phone inside the house and saw a big spider outside in our garden about 20 meter away....... she hates spiders after seeing so many fluffy colourful dangerous ones!!!!

Hi!

I feel better now after almost one week with a cold. One good thing is that now my immunsystem got a boost so next time I hopefully don't get as affected of this type of cold. Though there is at least 19 more to go......

Up up up!

I want up up up...... I climb and stand up to everything that moves or not.....but at night I still don't want to sleep eventhough I get lots of exercise during the day!

Mum and dad tries to encourage me to sit and not stand ALL the time but I know what I want and that is up up up....

My first real juice.

Yummy, daddy let me try som of his juice and I loved it from start!!! To bad I am not allowed to drink juice for mum....."to much sugar she says"....."not good for babies".......water or formula or the babie-juice but that taste like water anyways!

Dead monkey?

This monkey makes sounds and make me want to crawl after him. I just did and after he changed directions a few times a just stopped him and smashed him to the floor. There he is now still making funny sounds!!! Good I don't need to crawl after him! puh....
