Skills in the sandpit!
In daycare they have a huge sandpit and the most popular spot amongs the kids. They play kitchen, foodmaking, build houses, car driving etc..... in the sandpit! So today we headed for the beach for a bit of a spade training. Bella liked it for about 10 minutes then ran out in the waves! Well it's a start, soon she is going to be playing in the sandpit for a long time! or maybe not?

Around 10.00
"Daddy come out of there it's freezing in the water!" or I'll come in........ and Bella went in the water! After a cold swim some dry new clothes and a fresh bottle she fell into deep sleep in the pram! We continued home and put Bella in the car (still sleeping) and drove to the botanic garden to meet some friends and their little girl Pippi!

I like to coosleep with mum and dad but sometimes they don't like it! Especially when I roll onto their face in the night...I like to me close you know! But because I am almost 11 kg I am afraid I suffocate them, so we have to look into some other options! So today mum put me in a travellcot for my nap. And I sleep very well in there! See how it goes for the night!

a mum....
You know you are a dedicated mum when you show up on mothersgroup with the top inside out without even noticing it! or another funny thing that happend after a few hours walk in/out of shops and playing at a playground with Bella: I had a clothes peg hanging from my newly washed top! I can't believe that no one said a word... so many people must have seen me that friday with the clothpeg still on my shirt (right on the back)! Back home I saw the peg and started to laugh! At least I must have put a smiley face on a few people that day!!!!

A banana flower!
Water fun!
Bellas first outdoor bath! What a nice way of spending some time outdoor in the warm air playing with water and some toys. We do need to invest in a better pool for Bella because she needs help in/out of this one and she wants to get in/out many times in a row......her doll got soaking wet and her plastic mugs/forks/plates where good toys to play around with!
Angry look!

Happy parents!!
Finally we found a childcare center that will accept Isabella!!! And she starts in 2 weeks with a 4 week long introduction 1-2 hour per day/twice a week. Then 1 October her monday, thursday and fridays full days starts 8.00-16.00!!! That will be tough for her! and for us......
The center is in the hospital area but not the hospital I will do my 6 weeks long practicum/exam but a 15 minutes drive from it so not to far away.
Some info about the center: A beautiful indoor area with lots of windows that opends up to a nice fun outdoor area with sandpit and trees and other hiding spots.
Sleeping: the kids sleep on mattress, low beds or in a carseat hanging from the roof!? Either inside in a quite room or outside on the wooden porch whatever the kid likes best. With their bottle, toy or blanket. Also if they need help from staff to cuddle them they get it!
Food: all vegetarian cooked in the center (no issues with diffrent religions!?), 5 meals/ day is provided. Nappies provided.
Kids: age group 18 months -3 years and 11-14 in Bellas group/ 3 fulltime staff.
Price: 70$ per full day!!! but we do get some rebate and probably only have to pay half.
Atmosphere was very nice and friendly, all the kids was playing along with diffrent things from reading books, fingerpainting, dolls play, sandpit play, climbing trees..., kicking balls...
So now I can relax she will be in good hands! Now mum can get down to business and finish off her exam!!! So we can move on litteraly :)
Dad is making her a "social story" about the childcare center. We started this morning with a photo of Bella taking a shower and one with Bella in the car seat, next will be arriving to center, playing, eating, sleeping, playing and then mum/dad comes and go in a car again and arrive home!
This will help her predict the day! Often used for autistic children who can not predict their day!

Birthday party again!
Concentration
I am watching a "Baby Einstein" DVD about music instrument and I like to see the funny figures and listened the nice music, it makes me calm down if I am very tired!
When mum was 7 years old she played the violine, but she stopped at about 13 then it wasn't really cool enough for her! Mum liked specially to play in the orchestra where she had a lot of friends and she didn't need to play alone in front of Egon her violine teacher that she was a bit afraid of....
I wonder if I will play an instrument. Maybe drums....no, to noisy!!! piano....to big!!! saxophone maybe? What instrument did dad play? Guess?
