Not back in business yet.....

No wedding party or grandfather or Aussie reunion this weekend :( Sorry for all the people we miss to see!!!!!!! This weekend would have been fun and very special!

but but but maybe next one and last one before the flight back! We´ll see.

Everyone in the family has had a short but intense period of throwing up an feeling real bad. In the car back from Lalandia (by the way very fun!) little cousine 2 years old puked all over the car, moster (mums sister) next to mum throw up the minute after!!!!! but slowly we are getting back to business again. Mum wanted to change the ticket and fly back as early as possible but now it´s better to recover and get fit before we enter any plane!!!

Mums dad my (morfar) lives nearby so we meet him and his partner today!!!! and later on cousine B 8 years old gonna have a show with her "funky kids" dance group!

Bella sick!

Travelling around the world with a new little child can be difficult. Bella got extreme stomach pain and after 2 nights of screaming and lots of bad poop I had enough, something is wrong with her! We got advice from health centers to go to the childrens emergency hospital and so we did.

After blood and stool test they found nothing serious but we had to stay one night at the hospital for observation. Fever peaks up tp 39,5. I changed her diet from lots of solids to basic again: formula, babyrice and salt-sugar water. Bella is now feeling better and back into business!!!

So my advice to other new mothers: Do not attempt to travell by yourself and your baby around the world, you will need your husband, partner, nanny......to help you!!!!! Also be very carefull with food and other sick children that loves to kiss and cuddle little babies!

New tricks 3.

My moster (aunt, also translated= mothers sister) gave me a waffer for the first time, it kept me occupaid for a long time and in the end I had waffers everywhere in my face and on my clothes and on the floor.

I also learned to stand up with help of a standing thing note the wheels is gone!!!! otherwise little people like me would be able to go to far to quick! My goal here is to reach the dinosaur and I do it! I actually run him over!!!!

This year I learned so far to roll and roll and roll and roll until furniture or a fridge in this case stop me from rolling......

Winter

I like to be out and about in the winter sun playing with my little cousine! he is now 2 years old and just love little babies like me! tomorrow I go and pick him up from daycare with mum we probably have to but some peppar kakor (cokies) in our pocket to bribe him to come with us home. He likes his daycare a lot! To much fun and to many friends!

I've got a secret.....

to tell you mormor (grandmother translation by word= mothers mother)! soon is you birthday and I know whats going to happen!!!!!!.....hi hi hi to bad you don´t understand my talking yet.....It will be great fun anyway adn I will be able to cuddle you a lot more!!!!!!! kiss kiss

Bella is a god girl but has been so sad and in extreme pain! Throwing hereself backwards and unstoppable of crying :(

reason: 2 teeth on the way up in the same day!!!!!!! doctor said "nothing to do" as long as she is still eating and happy between the tantrums it is nothing to do, everything is normal!

but my heart is aching when she is sooooo unhappy! my little smiley baby! well soon you will se 2 teeth in her smiley pictures!

Cuddle me!

I like to cuddle right into the warm sheepskin! It makes me feel warm and good!

Weatherwise here is very wet and dark, no snow and plus 5-10 degrees!

Uncles, cousines, aunts and grandparents get to smile at me and when I am in a good mood I smile back!

I also got my first tooth on the way up, mum feels it very sharp and can see part of a little white tooth....I like to chew on towels preferably wet ones! I also happend to reach out for a red napkin and started to eat it!!!! pretty good but mum tried to remove all of it from my mouth!?

Nice sheepskin!

Wow how nice is the feeling of sheep skin.....Bella cuddle right into the warm sheep skin!!!! This is her new pram here and she likes it already!

She sleept for the first night from 13.00 to 05.00!!!! and me too!

Then the other nights have been nights and not days! No problem sleeping here at all.

Finaly here!

After a long plane trip we finaly landed and got out for our first walk. Weather +9 and slightly rainy.

Bella was very good on the planes and we got a bassinet hooked up in front of the seat for her to lay in and play in and get changed in when the toilett where occupaid!!!! very smart idea, unfortunately you only get it up to 6 months and Bella is 6 months today!!!!! After that babies travell on the lap up to 2 years of age and after that they get a full adult paid seat!

Bellas first New Year!

Lots of people gathering at the beach and along the beachpromenade with chairs and picnic tables. Bands playing and all restaurans where full! A real family event with kids running around playing, adults drinking wine and chating away, grandparents playing cricket!? with kids....reminds me a lot of our midsummer party!!!! All girls dressed in pretty dresses and everyone looked the best! Happy and giggley! Weather warm, nice breeze!

I like the fact that New Year here is a lot more for kids then an adult drinkingfeast! New Years fireworks at 20.30 for the youngest and then 24.00 for the rest. We saw few young drunk teenager but most where very well behaved and just had a great time!!!!!
We had a great time and Bella saw a few fireworks with little interest and we laughed about the year that past and what we want to d in the next! and that will be an exiting fun year 2007!

Triathlon the day before New Year!

35 degrees plus!!! and lots of very fit people in all ages competed in this triathlon! Wow where they ever swetty??? Mum wish she one day could be so fit that she could participate......she is dreaming...that's extremly hard work ans she can't even crawl!!!!

Dad just got mum a toblerone and yummy it's gone in a sec! Chocaholic they say?!

Sand what a strange toy?

I tried to grab it but it all fell apart over and over again. I digged my little hands into the sand and it feels fun and very diffrent from anything else I play with. It even taste strange ;) not bad but not to good either!
