Stolen generations.

Up to 1975 the babies that was born to aboriginal people and mixed aboriginal people was taken and put in "white families" or big boarding school or christian farms. They where never told who their real parents where or where they came from. The same for the young mothers where doctors, nurses, and other workers pulled their babies from their arms with physical violence. From newborn to about 14 years old. They tried to teach them the "white" way of living, eating, clothing, english, culture.....the kids where often treated like slaves. This is so horrible but I met many people in Alice Springs who where taken as kids and brought up to not knowing anything about their past and it is very hard for them to find their real families again. They belong to no one and nowhere. One campaign to reunite parents and children is called: "Bring them home". Australias history is very ashameful and bloody!
