My grandparents pick me up every morning and take me for a walk along the beautiful beach and to Starbucks, to give mum some alone time (very appreciated!!!). At Starbucks I have a drink and they have a drink. It's a bit of a walk and when the sun is high up around 11.00 it's just to hot to walk along the beach if you don't have a good hat and the feet in the water! After Starbucks they explore the surrondings with me, there is a little nice marina with huge boats that grand dad likes. Maybe one day we go on the dolphine cruise. We actually saw the dolphines jumping up/down from the water about 100 m from the beach the other day! Pretty cool!!!

Starbucks baby!

We were looking at these latest pics and I was pointing out to the kids, "look, they are really there and wearing shorts and feeding kangaroos" and being with their family. I can close my eyes and imagine being there. But when I open them again, hmm.. kids about to go to the school bus in the -20's but that has warmed up. Looking at your site has a certain 12 year old planning his future as an adult and where he COULD live.

I would highly recommend a trip to Australia for anyone who hasn't already had the pleasure of exploring this glorious continent. You can feel the strong British influence yet a lot of American culture has drifted over as well. The weather is beautiful....we were all cold yesterday as it was only +24. What will happen to us when we return home next week to lots of snow and -24?????
