Grandmas treat!

Today I went with mum in a sling to the mumsgroup and the topic was how to settle crying babies. Well after some discussions we came to the conclusion that you don't settle crying babies you just have to be there with them. Daytime Isabella plays eats and sleep no problem but around 19.00-19.30 she starts to give very clear sleepingclues and tries her hardest to stay awake until 21.00. Between 19.00-21.00 she will easily start to cry and freak out if we don't change her scenery.....we turn the tv off and she can't really play with toys on the mat by herself she gets to frustrated in the night.

So this is a few things we try to avoid screams:
she likes to be hold close, walk around inside or preferebly outside in our garden, look at a bright light, sit in the bathroom looking at the bath with ducks, looking at the spinning washing machine, get a bath or a shower, talked to calmly, go for a walk in the pram, then we put her in the pram when she is pretty settled and she talks and plays by herself there untill she get a drink and fall asleep.......then the pram is moved next to the bed untill she wakes up around 01.00 and we move her into her cot or our bed. Part of the night she sleeps on mummys tummy/chest, Isabella likes that! Warm and close. Last night she sleep from 01.00 untill 6.30!!! wow record!
