Todays exercise: how to use a "spade"= english word? (the green thing).In daycare they have a huge sandpit and the most popular spot amongs the kids. They play kitchen, foodmaking, build houses, car driving etc..... in the sandpit! So today we headed for the beach for a bit of a spade training. Bella liked it for about 10 minutes then ran out in the waves! Well it's a start, soon she is going to be playing in the sandpit for a long time! or maybe not?

Hi Sara! Bella have one more week of introduction to childcare then she starts parttime and I the same. Work will be good I am sure!

Don't worry Mum, Grammie can make great sandcastles and show Bella how! She can use a spade, shovel or anything that moves the sand, as long as she is having fun! Then she can show cousin Spencer how when she visits at Grampa & Grammies cottage in Canada.
